A project made with a group of 12 students developed over the course of the second year of the game design program. Relic Rally is a multiplayer capture the flag game with unique spells and power ups. Along with minigames, each player has to run to the relic in the center of the map and then run back to their own base to capture it. I was mainly in charge of the games UI and gameplay design.

Within the game each character has 3 different types of unique spells. Due to the fact that the game was a four-player split screen, I needed convey this information to each player with not that many screen space. This image shows my design process of displaying this information. I needed to display player health, player spells, and player spell cooldown all in one HUD. My process involves creating many variations in order to progressively enhance passed designs and to just get my ideas down to communicate them to my team members.
