UI DESIGNER / PROGRAMMER / Gameplay Designer
Dune Sea is a mobile infinite runner of a pelican’s adventure to find peace. I was brought onto the frolic labs team as a jack of all trades but mainly responsible for UI design and programming. Over the couple of months of working on this project I aided in establishing the games look and feel as well as creating the game’s first prototype in order to test and play some of the games design. Dune Sea has plans on releasing in the near future.
During the course of this project I was told to produce concept art for the feel of the environment within the game. I was able to quickly mock up this environment that not only spoke to the client’s vision for the look and feel of the game but as well the games overall design. My process started with researching and creating a mood board for what aspects I wanted to convey. After sketching and being pleased with the overall composition, I made the final vectorized design within Adobe Illustrator.
